"Stayed for 3 nites
Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "

"My friend and I were overwhelmed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff at the property. The hotel is charming, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved our rooms. There is a wide choice of both sweet and savoury food at breakfast and fresh fruit plus a homemade cake every morning. Franco concocts a delicious array of cocktails at the bar at only 6 euros each! We will definitely return and I am recommending it to all my friends and family."

"So it was hard
To check in because the address on the website is 14, but access to the B&B is through 16. The numbers listed on the front of #14 are non functioning. It was really hard to check in and until the host answered the message through the website we were not able to check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although no blankets were provided and it was very cold in the room. Stayed 2 nights, the host was very nice and breakfast was great!!!"

"Posto molto carino e centralissimo, a pochi minuti dalla piazza e dal mare. Le stanze sono ampie e pulite. La titolare disponibile e cordiale, ci ha persino aiutati a trovare parcheggio. A soli 15 metri c’è anche un comodo parcheggio a pagamento."

"This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa,
And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for...

"Stefano was very accomodating , helped with luggages on arrival and departure, since no cars are allowed on the street during the day. Great location , beautiful roof top , and delicious breakfast. Will definetly return.

"Great location near all the main sites in Ortigia! Loved how close it is to everything via walking. Hard to find and difficult to get parking nearby, but once there, amazing stay and highly recommend."

"Very nice, spacious rooms with exceptional beds. Great wifi too. Overall, this is a great place but it does need more soundproofing. All the voices downstairs echoed up into our room, including the host’s voice and the ringing of the office phone, which were near constant the first several hours we were there. At night too, we heard other guests in the hallway. Otherwise though, it was a great spot"

"The accommodation was perfectly adequate for our needs but a little dated and in need of some tlc. The beds were super comfy with new mattresses. The aircon (in the living room only) worked well enough to cool the whole downstairs house. The kitchen was lacking in resources, but we made do. The BBQ was not useable so we bought our own. The driveway is really tight in fact we got our Kia Sportage scraped on the gate, so would recommend not using it and parking on the main road which was fine, we always found a free spot. The pool was basically an adult sized paddling pool but fine to cool off in, which we did a lot of! The outside seating area was pleasant but we had to use kitchen chairs for the extra 2 people. We had a couple of water supply issues but Gio was amazing at sorting it out as soon as he could and he gave us treats as an apology. He was a lovely guy and super helpful. Even gave us a lift to our wine tasting experience as we couldn't hire a taxi! The upstairs (separate apartment) was only accessable via an outside, metal, spiral staircase, so only suitable for mobile adults. The 2 that stayed there moved their mattress into the living room as the bedroom was too hot. Their kitchen was better equipped than the downstairs one, but not easy to use due to the staircase.Only a short walk to the beach or town where there were lots of eateries and bars! A short drive to lots of supermarkets meaning lots of variety! All in all a great stay! Would recommend it."
"My wife and I booked this B&B for our honeymoon, the price and the rooms are very good quality. We enjoyed staying here, the owner is very friendly and helped me out with a few things. He doesn’t live in the building but his mother does and she was great. She gave my wife and I some beach towels because we forgot ours at home in the U.S. I’m not 100% sure who the older woman is that cooks the breakfast every morning but it is to die for, she makes all sorts of foods for the guests in the mornings which are delicious. They arrange tables in coordination with the guests staying there. One thing that kinda bothered my wife was you cannot eat inside the rooms, we aren’t sure if that’s just a Sicilian B&B thing. Everyone that runs the B&B together, you guys are doing an awesome job making this place very pleasant place to stay, all are very kind and have great hospitality! Avola in general has a genuine Sicilian culture so i recommend anyone that wants to see what real Sicilians are like stay here its worth it, you’ll see the difference between the touristy bigger cities and appreciate the little peaceful town of Avola even more. The beach is very close and the food at every restaurant we ate in the area was very good. Just make sure you practice your Sicilian or download a good translator app because the language is much different then Italian! Syracusa, Taormina, and Mt Etna are a max hour and a half drive. "
