"お盆を過ぎた時期に、金曜日から1泊させてもらいました。鬼のオブジェの真後ろのメタルのいうお部屋でした。チェックイン、チェックアウトは備え付けのタブレットから。少しアワアワしましたが、割とすんなりできました笑お部屋はとても、清潔でスタイリッシュ‼️ テンション爆上がりでした。ただ、強いて言えば、お部屋に入った時、1階は涼しかったのですが、2階が異常に暑く、クーラーを付けてもなかなか冷えず、クーラーを入れていてもらえたら嬉しかったということと、鬼のオブジェは夜も煌々と電気がついていて、（障子窓を開けるとすぐ鬼のオブジェの裏側)夜もずっと明るく、カーテンなどがあれば嬉しかったです。それ以外はほんと素敵なお部屋でした！ありがとうございました！"

"This was a perfect spot for our visit to Naoshima. Very convenient location, charming and gracious hosts. The house is spacious with nice character. Hosts are very attentive. They provided transportation to the ferry port as well as e-bikes for our use. The bikes are highly recommended for museum/art house hopping. Very comfy beds and a kitchen stocked with enough food for a meal. A nice touch was the fresh flowers found throughout the rooms. Overall a very pleasant and friendly spot."

"The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. "

"Do not stay here. More like a 1970s dormitory, the photos shown on the website are utterly misleading. I don’t even know where to start. Firstly, despite providing excessively detailed information online before checking in (to help ‘save time’ on arrival), we arrived late at night after navigating very narrow roads to get there and were met with an electronic check in system that not only required passport numbers and SCANS but took photos of all of us including four children. "This is a beautiful old house, in a very pretty area. If you enjoy Japanese architecture this is a great place to stay. Our host went out of his way to make sure we felt accommodated and offered to take us to the beach and and drop us to the train station. "
