This is the first time I’ve stayed at the very nice little country pub, with rooms , very easy to find , a lot of character, excellent evening meal good quality home cooked food, breakfast was also. cooked fresh, again good quality ingredients, room was separate to the pub, off to a little side annex, over looking the car par park , room very well maintained, very nice and decent size walk in shower, enjoyed the stay so much Ive booked in again next week!!!
Attractive country pub with friendly helpful staff from check in to when we left. Our room was beutifully clean, comfortable and well equiped. Excellent breakfast too. Would thoroughly recommend it.
The Clifden Arms was such a memorable stay! Our room was cosy and spotlessly clean. The bar itself was a beautiful setting, full of character. Dinner was lovely but the breakfast was excellent! A big thank you to all the staff who were so friendly and professional.
Characterful country pub accommodation and dining experience.

Beautiful room away from the pub, very quiet and spotlessly clean, unfortunately werent serving food the night i went, but the breakfast in the morning was excellent.
Lovely pub in a lovely area. Very good overnight stay in a nice, comfortable room. Dinner & breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Thank you to Rob and the team for a very enjoyable break. We will definitely return.
A delightful stay after we had taken a balloon flight. The room was comfortable and very clean. The main hotel a delight and the staff very attentive. A delicious breakfast.
Lovely 2 night stay at the Clifden arms and we would stay again. Everything was just as described and the staff were super polite and helpful. We couldn't fault the service and the pub itself was very quaint and situated in the lovely Buckinghamshire countryside.
Lovely place to stay, not too far from the the park and ride into Oxford. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Fantastic food. Highly recommend it here.
Stayed for a couple of nights to attend meeting ne
Very traditional village pub with modern b&b facilities. Very clean room with big shower room. Great service from Rob the GM and full English Breakfast was of good quality and generous portions.
Very nice place to stay. It was very nice to sit in the beer garden and have some pub grub. Food service started at 5:30 pm. Breakfast was really good. We stayed in the Willow room that can sleep up to four people. Only downside was the creaky floor from the guest above our floor. Would stay there again.
Great old pub with converted barn for rooms.Lovely food with good choice and quality. Friendly and attentive staff.
Part of beer garden is being developed at present but didnt detract from the stay.
Lovely property in the middle of the countryside - very quiet and peaceful.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
We had breakfast and dinner at the pub - lovely, fresh, good quality food and excellent service.
Oxford is a short drive away - thoroughly recommend a visit.
Nice little inn/B&B in a small town within close proximity to Oxford, London, etc. Ate at the restaurant for dinner and the service was pretty scattered and inconsistent, along with the food. There were all kinds of things out and only 2-3 beers available but there were 8-9 on-tap. Breakfast was much better, so that made up for it a bit.
Decent amount of noise between rooms, were woken several times by the person next door.
This was a very nice country pub hotel.
Check in was easy enough and I was escorted to my room complete with a little jug of fresh milk. Room was really nice an clean. Wi-Fi was free and a decent speed. Had dinner at the pub and thete was a reasonable choice. Could have used somewhere to work in my room but found a corner in the pub instead. Had a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was included and looked really good. I just a coffee and toast guy on these working trips. Check out was easy.
