"Great communication from Hotel prior to stay, and really friendly when arrived. Nice property, and easy to get to, with parking available. Staff were really considerate and made me feel safe on a solo travel, without prompt giving a room with private shower, when purchased a shared bathroom. Only shared toilet facilities for my duration. Truly appreciated upgrade. Breakfast was good, option of full english and alternatives, alongside buffet style cereals and fruits. "This was a really good place to stay and such a wonderful find for repeat visits when I’m in the area again. A must have for breakfast is the homemade pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and delicious glacéd sliced apples, simply wonderful."

"Greeted on arrival and all was explained as I was shown to my room. The room and bathroom were clean. Bedside lamp had USB points which was convenient. Breakfast was simple although three out of the six tables had not been cleared after guests that had been and gone by 9:00 - in fact I didn't see any staff at all in the morning before I left at 10:00 although it had been explained that I could simply leave in the morning with no checkout required."

"It’s a pub with rooms at the back, not the biggest but perfectly functional. Very hot in the room, could do with a fan maybe? The lady behind the bar got a little flustered, made a call and got it sorted. Also very European when it came to bar service. Overall will stay again if needed"

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"Room is large and comfortable with fully functional kitchnette. There is no air conditioning so it can get very warm when the outside temperature is hot. Fans are provided but it is still quite uncomfortable to sleep at night when it is hot. If you are facing the road it is quite noisy with the windows open."

"This amazing canal boat was the highlight of our trip to England! We were amazed at how nice and clean it was. Dinner at the pub nearby was excellent and morning coffee on the deck was a truly wonderful experience. Enjoying canal life for a day was a pleasure, we will definitely stay again on our next trip."
