I can’t recommend Gaja Rooms highly enough. Even before arriving, the owner, Demet, was incredibly helpful with tips and advice. The place feels newly refurbished; the rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished, and I only regret staying for just one night. The location is ideal—set in a very quiet part of the old town, yet perfectly placed for exploring the city and easily reaching great restaurants, cafés, and pubs. What truly made the stay outstanding, though, was Demet’s warm welcome: it felt less like staying at a guesthouse and more like visiting a friend.

We stayed at Gaja Hotel for three nights. The owners, Demet and Gökhan, are wonderful! We visit Ayvalık at least once a year to see my husband's family, so we're very familiar with the area. We've stayed in many different places, and we're glad Gaja opened because now we know where to stay in the future. The hotel is located outside the busy area but is within walking distance to the center. It has a beautiful breakfast that we enjoyed every morning. The room was spacious, with AC, a refrigerator, and a safe. The hotel is very clean and modern, and the room had everything we needed. There’s a coffee shop nearby called Crown Coffee Roastery—everything I’ve tried there was great. It’s an expert coffee shop with high-quality options. I also buy coffee beans from Crown; they have interesting blends, from red wine to pine honey. There’s a local shop, Moyy Atölye, right on the main street next to the hotel. I’ve bought jewelry and clothing there over the years and enjoy using them. We enjoyed our stay at Gaja—it’s convenient yet private. We will definitely be back!

a wonderful stay

This was a perfect stay for us. We very asked about our arrival and departure hours and the hotel provided us a very warm wellcome and even there were some Christmas cookies in our room and the reception area. The products used in the hotel are from sustainable sources. When we were leaving, Ms. Demet gave us some freshly baked pastery.

Otele varmadan önce Demet Hanım bizi otelin konumu ve çevrede yapılacaklarla ilgili bilgilendirdi. Daha önce Ayvalık’a defalarca gelmemize rağmen en çok memnun kaldığımız yer burası oldu. Otelin konumu, odaların büyüklüğü, yatakların rahatlığı ve tabiki temizlik mükemmeldi. Misafirler için yapılmış minik kurabiyeler ve meyve sepeti çok ince düşünülmüş ayrıntılardı, çok hoşumuza gitti. Bundan sonra her Ayvalık gezimizde tercih edeceğimiz otel.. :)

Oda oldukça konforlu ve temizdi. Otele erisim icin otel sahipleri tarafindan detaylica bilgilendirildik ve hicbir sorun yasamadik. Odada çok tatlı el yapımı atıștırmaliklar, kahve ve cay ikarimi bulunmakta. Banyoda ihtiyaciniz olabilecek pamuk, dus jeli ve sampuan bulunmakta, bu gibi kucuk ama dusunulmus detaylar bizi cok mutlu etti. Ayvaligin huzurlu ruhu ile butunlesmis bir konaklama ve ev sahipleri ile essiz bir deneyim yasadik. Hic unutmayacagimiz bir tatil oldu bu konaklama tercihi sayesinde. Yine gelsek yine gaja rooms ile konaklamayi tercih ederiz. Ayrica goz alici ve lezzetli kahvaltilarini denemeden de gitmemeli kimse, biz denedik cok memnun kaldik. Ayni zamanda cok guzel bir bahcesi ve muhtesem manzarali bir teratsta da vakit gecirme firsatimiz oldu.

Harika bir deneyim

Birkaç odası olan küçük bir işletme. İnsana o konakta yaşıyormuş hissi veriyor. Çok güzel ve konforu ön plana koyacak şekilde dizayn edilmiş. Her ayrıntısının üzerine etraflıca düşünüldüğü belli oluyor. Demet hanım çok yardımcı oluyor. Ayvalığı gezmek için harika önerileri var. Kahvaltı yakınlardaki popüler seçeneklerden kesinlikle daha iyi. Almanızı ve öncesinde çok aç olmanızı öneririm. Çok çeşit var ve her şey çok lezzetli. Eklediğim fotoğrafta çok az bir kısmı var kahvaltının. Sıcaklar henüz gelmemişti.
