"My family and I stayed for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and had a fabulous time. The hotel was clean, modern, and tastefully decorated, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Its location is great, just a few minutes' walk from a nearby beach. The facilities for kids were also fantastic, featuring a large, staffed kids' club. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment room complete with kitchen."

"Overall a good experience. Breakfast was just above average as was the room. Hot water was lacking, but the view made up for many of the deficiencies. Spectacular. Pedro was a great host, but some other staff were less than friendly. Parking very convenient and walkability to Buzios centro and Joao Fernandes beach was good. Pool was very pleasant."

"A estadia foi boa na Pousada João Fernandes. Um ponto de atenção é a quantidade de vagas disponíveis. Ao reservar, fui informado que havia estacionamento gratis sem manobrista no local. Ao chegar, descobri que a pousada possui 20 quartos e apenas 8 vagas. E para piorar, duas delas ficam "reservadas para os donos". "Loved my stay here! Gorgeous view and good value for the price. I found it very walkable despite being on a slight hill (better view that way) and I had a good time here. The only thing stopping a 5 star review was that one morning the water was unexpectedly not running and I had to skip a shower. I forgot to ask why and never got an explanation. The breakfast was pretty okay but the coffee was very bad. The hairdryer didn’t work in my bathroom. Overall I would totally stay here again unless I required a more upscale place. I find it to be very good for the cost!"

"Perfection at every little detail. The staff is very helpful, extremely friendly, and spot on! Always going out of their way to make us happy! The rooms are super comfortable, modern and well designed. Heated pool with an stunning view to the beach. The restaurant is one of the best in Buzios. All the guys at the restaurant were Amazing but Frede and Javier made our stay memorable!! We will definetly come back !! "
