"Such a great stay, made even better by Johannes! The room is very cute and has hotel level bathroom amenities. You can really tell Johannes & Inna have a professional hospitality background by the little details they put into designing the room. The location is right outside the park, a breeze if you’re comfortable biking in Amsterdam. There’s a supermarket not even one block away, a bike rental place 2 blocks away. I would totally rebook the next time I’m in town."

"Beautiful location, felt like a local. Room was big with a large comfy bed. Had everything we needed and was cleaned and restocked daily. There was a portable aircon (which i know aircons aren't guarenteed in older buildings) it was super loud and needed the window open to run. Blinds also let in lots of light. Great stay though"

"Great location in Amsterdam. The host was an excellent communicator, was very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful travel advice for Amsterdam. There are steep stairs, but that is only a problem if you have mobility issues or large luggage. We would definitely stay there again."

"Location is right in the centre so everything is within walking distance. Bus to/from airport (38 min) close by. Amiable staff. If you want a real Dutch place to stay then this is your best bet."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mercedes BnB. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, the studio was clean and well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast at the cafe around the corner was a delightful bonus. The location is fantastic, really close to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the amazing city of Amsterdam."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mercedes Bed and Breakfast. Our room was small but very cozy and perfect for our 4 nights in Amsterdam. The location was perfect for all we wanted to do and Isabel was very approachable and helpful, answering any questions we had. We loved Amsterdam and when we return we would hope to stay at Mercedes BnB again."

"This hotel is located in a narrow street filled with several bars and restaurants. It is perfect if you would like to go out to eat. But the noise from outside is quite significant . Our room was on the second floor, just above the bars/restaurants and we could not sleep until mid night. The room did not have any air conditioning system, except two fans that one of them was broken. We had to close the windows because of the outside noise, so the room was quite hot. I contacted the management...

"I stayed solo here during my city trip in Amsterdam. It is close to the city center by metro where I can get to the center in 15 mins. The hotel is trying to be sustainable by implementing self check in. Which I get the concept however there’s a host stand there she checked my passport first and asked me to proceed with self check in. It seemed redundant. It would actually save more time to just direct me to the iPad directly once I arrive vs spending the extra time with the host if we’re trying to be efficient. You make your own key with the iPad. The elevator is very fast. The lobby bar I had good drink- ruby’s coral something it was lovely. I did wish there’s a coffee machine in the room."
"Room was clean but a couple of areas that were a bit worn especially on the walls. Bathroom was great, coffee and tea available if needed. We ate in the city so can’t rate the food but the vending machines were reasonable for a late night sugar fix. Not too far from the tram stop and we felt it was very peaceful"
"Our stay at The Hoxton Lloyd in Amsterdam exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed throughout our stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The décor is stylish, warm, and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a day of exploring Amsterdam. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable.
The standout experience, however, was the breakfast. Without question, it was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The selection was outstanding, with an abundance of fresh, high-quality options. There were plenty of protein choices, delicious pastries, a fantastic yogurt bar with toppings, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, and so much more. Everything was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious.
The Hoxton Lloyd combines exceptional hospitality, thoughtful design, immaculate accommodations, and an unforgettable breakfast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam."
