"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. The maids even tidied up our stuff even though it was never asked of them, nor even experienced anytime in my life so that was a first, a happy first. This place is doing their best and that’s enough for me at under 50USD per night…if you want a beach club with unnecessary guards at every entrance in the beach there’s a place next-door that’s run by the Burmese that will charge you about two to $400 a night… but you came to Thailand, right?"

"Really accessible area in Haad Rin but just off the main area. Large bungalows with super comfy beds and AC. The bathrooms are slightly dated with my shower head occasionally slipping off but overall was still good. Service was great. "
