"- Beautiful views - steep hill, but free shuttle is provided for going down and back. They even dropped us off and picked us up at nearby restaurants. Only issue was the shuttle stops at 5:00 pm. - great breakfast with first specialty coffee free each day. - near to lots of cool restaurants"

Buri Rasa Village Phangan

"Beautiful setting with easy beach access, adequate pool (although only around 10 lounges are provided). Attentive check in and service staff in the beach-facing restaurant. Adequate buffet breakfast but the flies and mosquiotos are annoying. Other issues are the lack of evening entertainment (incl.music) - apart from the exciting fire show on Sundays. Also limited access to live Australian TV channels (some repeats are on Youtube). Resort can get a bit boring for a solo traveller after a couple of days, especially as the linked Village contains mainly restaurants and mini-markets but no pub or tour office."

Baan Kiao Resort

"I had a very pleasant stay at Baan Kiao Resort. The highlight of the resort is definitely the staff, very warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The beach is beautiful and only a one-minute walk from the resort, and the pool was great for relaxing. Although the resort mainly caters to families, I still enjoyed it as a solo traveller. There are also restaurants, cafés, a 7-Eleven, and an exchange booth within walking distance, so the area feels convenient without being overly busy. Overall, a comfortable and easy place to stay on Koh Phangan."
