The hotel had two distinct parts the older part was authentic German. The new part with the pool was practical and the pool was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and evening food was good.

Ondanks dat het adres aangeeft dat dit in Bad Mergenheim ligt, is de werkelijkheid dat dit in een aangrenzend dorp ligt op ca 17 minuten rijden met de auto van het centrum van Bad Mergenheim. Overigens een leuk plaatsje met een groot kasteel. In de directe omgeving van het hotel is er alleen een pizzeria in de buurt, als je niet van wild of varkensgerechten houdt. De ontbijt faciliteit was prima, niets over aan te merken. Achter het hotel is een ruime parking voor de gasten.

Wir kommen jeden Juli für ein Wochenende in die Weinstube Lochner und es war gut wie immer. Sehr effiziente Rezeption, saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück... alles mehr als in Ordnung. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Kann man definitiv empfehlen

Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter, die den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet haben. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und ist gut gepflegt. Auch das Restaurant überzeugt mit leckeren Speisen und einem freundlichen Service. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zwar ist das Hotel insgesamt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch die regelmäßige Pflege sorgt dafür, dass alles in einem guten Zustand bleibt. Ein rundum angenehmes Erlebnis!

Frühstück war reichlich und gut, Zimmer war ok., sauber und ruhig. Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wurde aber einiges renoviert. Bettdecken und Matratze wunderbar. Großer Fernseher. Die Schwimmhalle fand ich sehr überhitzt, deshalb bin ich leider in dem schönen Schwimmbecken gar nicht Baden gewesen. Toll, dass es kostenlose Parkplätze gab. Zum Fahrradfahren war die Umgebund total toll. Service war gut und Personal alle nett und zuvorkommend. Ich war sehr zufrieden und würde wiederkommen.

Wein und Kultur

Nettes Familienhotel direkt im Zentrum des kleinen Weinorts Markelsheim. Wir waren dieses Jahr schon das 5. Mal in diesem Hotel und es hat uns wie immer sehr gut gefallen. Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut, die Küche im hauseigenen Restaurant excellent. Das Hotel verfügt über ein kleines Hallenbad. Der Ort ist ideal gelegen als Ausgangspunkt für die Frankenfestspiele in Röttingen und das Festkonzert in Schloss Weikersheim.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel. Alles sehr sauber. Unser Enkel hat sich sehr über sein großes Bett gefreut. In der Gaststätte war das Essen sehr gut und sehr freundliches und höfliches Personal.
