"What a beautiful area. We had a great stay here. Very comfortable bed, clean room, and snacks available. As soon as I made the reservation, I received a message from the hotel about checking in after hours. Do yourself a favor...don't wait until you're sitting in the parking lot at 9:00 pm, trying to get in, to translate the message. It all worked out, though, and we had a wonderful time. "This was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately, the description on Expedia was inaccurate and caused us some inconvenience. The Expedia description was that the hotel had a 24/7 reception, however, when we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm due to late train connections, no one was at the hotel. "If you are visiting Sigmaringen this is where you have to stay. Beautifully renovated hotel with the best views of the castle. Staff is welcoming and helpful, nice breakfast, spacious, pretty and modern rooms with A/C. Front desk offered a candy bar to guests and mini ice creams at check-in. But the terrasse with views of the castle steal the show. Must stay! "

"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. Location was fabulous and rooms were cute with well equipped kitchen. "
