The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk from the beautiful old town. You find in few minutes to foot numerous ✔Cafés ✔Restaurants & ✔Shops. The famous blue tower can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot and the river (Neckar) can also be reached on foot within a few minutes.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Bahnhof von Bad Wimpfen in einem ehemaligen Bahnhofsgebäude. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig geschnitten mit großer Küche, Flur, einem Schlafzimmer sowie zwei weitere verbundenen Schlafzimmern mit Hochbett. Im EG gibt es ein nettes Restaurant/ Biergarten. Parkmöglichkeiten sind hervorragend. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in einem Schuppen nebendran sicher abstellen. Die Altstadt von Bad Wimpfen ist in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht im Rahmen einer Fahrradtour dort, haben uns aber sehr wohlgefühlt. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Super Lage, toller Gastgeber

Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen ist in dem Fall leider auch die an sich Tolle Lage. Im Bahnhofsgebäude hat man halt eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung Morgens durch Schüler und andere Reisende bzw. durch Busse und die Bahn. Aber natürlich perfekt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen und in direkter Nähe des historischen Ortszentrums.

Familienurlaub

Im Vorfeld haben wir uns versichert, ob kleine Kinder im Hochbett schlafen können. Die Kinder, 3 1/2 und 6, waren ganz begeistert und haben die Treppe hinauf und hinunter zum Schlafplatz vorsichtig bewältigt. Abenteuereffekt. Sicherheitshalber hat der Papa dort mit genächtigt. Das Bad ist sehr groß, auch die Küche mit einem 6 Personen großen Tisch. Alle Elektrogeräte sind vorhanden. Das war sehr bequem. Diejenigen, die trotz Spülmaschine gerne spülen, sollten ein weiteres Abtrockentuch bei mehreren Tagen Aufenthalt noch mitnehmen. Die Küche ersetzt das Wohnzimmer. Ideal, wenn man tagsüber unterwegs ist und nach Tagestouren ins Bett fällt. Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes 4 Tage Regen und haben das Wohnzimmer nur einmal etwas vermisst. Alles ist Fußläufig und mit der Bahn zu erreichen. Die vorbeifahrende Bahn nachts empfanden wir nicht als störend. Freitags ist das Restaurant unten im Bahnhof geöffnet. Sehr ansprechende Atmosphäre und sehr leckeres mexikanisches Essen und interessante Longdrinks. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Brudi war sehr angenehm. Er beantwortet zeitnah alle Fragen und ist sehr behilflich. Die Unterkunft ist vom Ambiente und der örtlichen Lage wirklich ansprechend und empfehlenswert.

Es war super...wir konnten spontan eher in die Wohnung, die groß und geräumig ist. Alles sehr unkompliziert. In der Wohnung kann man auch bei heissen Tagen gut aufhalten, es wurden Ventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zentrale Lage mit tollem Biergarten im Erdgeschoss.

Great stay at the train station!

We had a great and unique stay at this property. The unit is on the second floor of the Bad Wimpfen train station, and has two bedrooms and a small loft (which is best for children) above another room. There's another room with a full kitchen and dining area, and a final large room where the shower, laundry, and toilet are. The windows provide a good flow of air and have decent views. The place itself feels nice and modern. Beds were very comfortable. Parking is easy and very close. Town is minutes away on foot. Steffen is a great host. He had the place nicely stocked, and went out of his way guy to ensure we could check in early despite some difficulties. He communicated great throughout the process. We wish we could have eaten at his restaurant on the main floor of the train station (and he will make reservations for you), but we couldn't make it work. The station itself is very small and quiet. We left the windows open the entire time we were here, and could barely notice when trains arrived and departed. I think the restaurant can get a little noisy at night on the weekends as well, but it wasn't a big deal either. Overall, all six of us, from 12 years old to 77 years old, enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to stay here again if we were in the area.

Ein toller Aufenthalt mit 5 Personen im September 2020 Sepzembet

Wir haben uns diese Wohnung ausgesucht weil wir mit 5 Personen auf dem Neckarsteig wandern wollten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super wie auch die Wohnung selbst. Es ist alles mit Liebe eingerichtet . Uns fehlte nichts und wir haben die Zeit dort richtig genossen. Danke an Steffen und Matthias!

Wochenendtrip

Habe mit 4 Freundinnen die Wohnung gemietet. Super herzlicher Empfang!!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, geräumig und super sauber!!! Einzigster „Hacken“: Die Beschreibung im Inserat ist sehr ungenau! Wir waren doch etwas irritiert, als wir das 3. Schlafzimmer sahen! Es handelt sich um eine sehr schmale Holzleiter, die zu einer selbst gebauten Empore führt, auf der 2 Matratzen auf dem Boden liegen und man in gebückter Haltung in‘s „Bett“ gelangen muss!!! Für uns war es trotzdem in Ordnung, sind aber doch der Meinung, dass das Notbetten für Kinder sind und auf jeden Fall auch so beschrieben werden sollten!!!
