"We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. There’s a steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. "The hotel is basic and that's what we pay for. The town was unexpectedly quiet and shops/restaurants closed rather early. Should have picked Polonnaruwa over Anurahadpura."

"Beautiful castle like hotel with excellent staff . Excellent scenery and excellent food. The only thing bad is the journey to the hotel is horrifying especially in the evening. It is not easy to find the place."
