"Communication was a bit difficult as the staff’s English was limited, but despite the language barrier, they did their best to explain everything and were very kind. Both breakfast and dinner were not excellent, but they were satisfactory. The room was spacious and clean, which we appreciated. "

If you don't want to eat in the hotel in the evenings (vegetarian buffet), then there are couple of food options nearby but be mindful that Mondays seem to be very quiet with a lot of places closed. You are able to get the bus right outside the hotel in to Budapest in 20 mins. Very easy and convenient to do. Uber's are also easy to get. It was a nice balance between city break and relaxation - just what we wanted. "

The hotel was just brilliant, being able to sit outside, eat and drink outside in the gorgeous sunshine was just lovely. The bedroom was great and a very comfortable bed. "Overall a disappointing experience. The spa was very nice, but the restaurant dinner buffet had lukewarm food for a relatively expensive price in Hungary. The breakfast buffet was also lukewarm. After breakfast and before checkout time we returned to our room to find our keycards didn't work anymore. Eventually they reactivated them so we could get back in our room to collect our stuff. At checkout the staff were adamant I hadn't paid via Hotels.com even though I thought I had, and they swiftly prepared my invoice and gave me the payment terminal. While I was paying I was checking my Hotels.com emails and bank account, and only after the payment had gone through I found that I had indeed already paid via Hotels.com. The staff were fortunately able to reverse the transaction, but offered no apology for the mistake. We wouldn't stay here again."
