"The hotel is a beautifully restored historic building, with richly decorated ballroom style dining area. The property was very clean, the amenities covered everything we needed, the staff was helpful, courteous and had great recommendations for dining, entertainment and transportation options in the area. Our stay included breakfast, with offerings of a wide selection of pastries, breads, baked goods, cold cuts, as well as made-to-order dishes and salads. Can't comment on parking since we used the excellent public transportation system and had no need for parking services. The central location of the property made it really easy to reach any landmarks and honestly everything the city had to offer. The great public safety of the area made even late night river bank walks a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend staying at this property."

Novotel Budapest Danube

"Cute little hotel excellent for tourists. Very well located right across the river from the downtown Budapest, walking distance to the castles, several view points and the metro station to get to downtown in just few minutes. We stayed for total of 5 nights and I would say we pretty much walked to most places and it was very enjoyable even in the heat of unusually warm weather. The hotel staff seemed very well trained and were accommodating to our needs. The breakfast was add-on but the quality of it was excellent so we absolutely enjoyed it. The only questionable part was that the shower in the room didn't have a 'door', just a half-masked glass wall and it was easy to make a puddle on the bathroom floor if not careful. Overall, excellent stay."

"We stayed in a Premium twin room which was very clean and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic. Hotel is in a quiet location with views over the Danube. Just a short walk from Margaret Island and taxis turn up in minutes when booked through the Bolt/Uber App. We had a wonderful stay and reasonably priced overall."
