This little hotel is very beautiful and very cozy. the main staircase and main hallway are very very old and smelly but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are phenomenal and very friendly. Not a lot of amenities in the room but enough for a night stay I guess.

The property is well maintained, clean with a security gate in downtown Bakersfield so much quieter than freeway locations. Breakfast costs extra.

The staff is the best, my son forgot his thermo bottle and the cleaning personnel came out looking for us with the bottle, that gesture was the best of that place, I was really grateful.

I had a very clean, comfortable room! Staff was friendly. I did not have the opportunity to eat breakfast, but had some great coffee. I did not use the parking lot, as I rode the train there.

Check in was a breeze (most places i have stayed usuallyy are) The staff members were all quite helpful and polite. Theres a lovely little resteraunt attached to this hotel called Mango Haus that had some terrific Chilaquiles and some really well done cocktails. There is alot of parking and its gated which is a plus for down town bakersfield. Only downside is youre no where close to any stores or gas its all just business and resteraunts in the area. But also super quick access to the Amtrak so that really weighed out bad.
