We stayed just the one night, it was a comfortable room and a large comfy bed with a fantastic view!
A powerful shower with huge towels provided, it was a great way to start your day.
An included cooked breakfast set us up for the day.
Staff were most helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again if in the area,
We stayed two nights for a reunion of friends who graduated from university 50 years ago. The hotel is a traditional pub with four small but comfortable bedrooms and a terrific location with wonderful views across the Peak District. The second night was quiz night, so we fielded a team and came somewhere in the middle of the pack.
Lathkil is ideally located for many of the classic places in the Peaks, and for walking the fells. We spent the morning of our full day visiting the Magpie lead mine, and the afternoon at Chatsworth walking around the gardens.
The weather was sublime, and evening drinks outside the hotel looking across the fells were a highlight.
Room clean and comfortable.
Staff welcoming, polite and courteous.
Excellent breakfast.
Have nothing but good words to say and would recommend to anyone.
Many thanks Lathkil Hotel!
Great stay, small but comfortable room. Great shower and had a fridge. We especially liked the amazing views and friendly staff. Would love to stay again next time visiting peak district.
We booked a room with a view which was lovely to wake up to. The room was small but clean and had plenty of tea/coffee and milk for our stay. We stayed on a Monday night when the bar and restaurant were closed but this meant we had a very quiet night and a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast choice and service was fantastic and set us up for the day.
Stayed overnight to break a longer trip and enjoyed it. Good food and friendly staff.
View from the hotel bar and restaurant is stunning.
Room was small, but had everything we needed and was good value for money.
My wife and myself had a weekend stay at this hotel. The room was lovely with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, service and staff was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with outstanding views, would definitely book at this hotel again.
We had a lovely stay at the Lathkil hotel, the staff there were very welcoming and accommodating, including allowing us into our room early so we could drop off our things and go for a hike as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was great and the views stunning, would definitely recommend.
