"Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der ruhige und entspannte Innenhof mit kleinem Pool und dass man sein Frühstück auf der sonnigen Terrasse genießen konnte. Einziges Manko: die Zimmer sind ziemlich hellhörig. Das hat uns für eine Nacht aber nicht groß gestört."

"My wife and I stayed for two nights. We had the Africa Suite which was comfortable, well furnished and spacious with a huge naturally-lit bathroom. The property itself is well maintained with lovely semi tropical gardens and a nice pool area. 4 stars would not be enough but I would have given 4 1/2 if I could for a couple of reasons. (1) the hotel is a long way from the centre (30/40 minute walk at least and) where most of the restaurants are and (2) although efficient, the lady on reception...

"We had a very pleasant stay in Swellendam. We were only here for one night and stayed at Aviento. The host ist very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean with everything you need while backpacking. 🙂 One recommendation though, we had the budget room and there was no door to the toilet. It would be very nice to just have a sliding door if the space is the problem for not having one. Best, Lark & Olivia"

"Booked in the cottage, but as I was alone, I was moved to the house. Bigroom, clean and comfortable blankets etc and heater for the cold. tv unfortunatrly didnt work, so I read instrad. Friendly helpful service"

"This is a beautiful accommodation nested in a quiet neighborhood in Swellemdam. The room is so spacious and bright with an amazing view of the mountain! Restaurants and great coffee shops are nearby. If you are planning a drive through Garden Route and surrounding areas, you should consider making a stop at Swellendam and stay in Riverbed Guesthouse!!"
