Tv dont have hdmi socket for our amazon fire stick, that was litteraly our only problem, we assumed they would have as they had flat screen tvs. So we was unable to watch anything of an evening.
We rented two rooms - one was a suite with a sofa bed. There was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom. No toilet paper in the bathroom of the 2nd room. The wifi was terrible. And the sofa bed in the suite had a huge dip in the middle and a flimsy matress. They only had kitchen utensils for 2 people.
Overall a pretty bad experience. On the flip side, the receptionist did her best to help with the matress situation.
Friendly welcome. The hotel was very convenient for the botanical garden and palace., and also an easy 20 minute walk to harbour restaurants. Room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. We had a sea view room but I have to admit the sea was rather distant!
Would certainly recommend.
The hotel looks nice from the outside but the room with breakfast for one night that I stayed in was very basic. I had previously stayed in a 5 star hotel the night before so was probably a bit spoilt.
However, this hotel did it's job without being any more than average. Staff were friendly and helpful so no issues with that but the rooms may need some modernising over time. I expected something better for almost 70pounds for the night but it is what it was. I'd give it between 2.5 and 3 stars.
King size bed er IKKE to enkeltsenger satt sammen, men dette er noe de gjør på hoteller over hele verden.
Really nice hotel room. 2 bathrooms, and a separate living area. Would have preferred an actual double bed, but instead got 2 singles pushed together with single duvets which was strange!
Nice bathroom with a great shower, though the hot water ran out towards the end.
Hotel staff okay, but a smile wouldn't go amiss...very little English spoken.
Don't eat in there as very basic.
Used the spa facilities which were good. The gym is more for weights than cardio. Limited car parking.
Overall it was really good value for money
Unfortunately it is a longish walk to the town and the seafront. The seafront is nice and some parts of the town but other parts a very rough, as is much of the countryside nearby.

Disliked: Staff & service
The restaurant needs to improve the staff and menu offer and quality.
Not pleased with the breakfast either.
Very comfortable and clean rooms with many amenities. However, the Internet connection was very bad and not up to the Western standards. We were unable to connect to the Internet to check on our flight reservations. The hotel staff dismissed our complaint with " The Interned doesn't want to work". It seemed that they consider the Internet as a unnecessary luxury and do not understand how important is to be able to check on your air ticket reservations or flight changes when you are away from home. The hotel staff knowledge of English was limited at best and some of the clerks did not even speak the local Bulgarian language. Good hotel amenities, very poor service. The quality of the breakfast was well below standard.
The hotel was perfect for a week-end get away (it could be suitable for even longer visits). Very nice furniture, the studio was excellent - very nice furniture, very clean and with a nice view.
I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in.
Nice big room with kitchinet and minifridge. The hotel and the room were clean and bright, beautifully furnished, but not a good place for 2 couples. We booked a suite (king suite) but the sofabed was very very unconfortable.
Breakfast and dinner was very good.
Nice pool and comfortable sunbeds.
The apartment suite for 4 had only two chairs on the balcony and also you couldn't actually see the sea. In their description they said sea-view, but actually u can see only trees.
You have to pay the entrance to the botanical garden (7 leva) if u want to see the castle (5 leva). 30 minutes to the beach.
