"The property has traditional Bali structures and is stunningly beautiful next to rice fields on either side terraced into hillsides. There are two lovely infinity pools, one overlooking the rice fields. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Balinese massages were great. The manager Doni is very friendly and helpful. If you want to remove yourself from civilization and be the one with oneself and nature, this is the place. I liked that they did not have Tv in the room or internet Wi-Fi (only at the restaurant). "We recently spent a week in a pool villa at Ayung Resort and had an incredible time. The location is breathtaking, nestled right in the jungle, and we were thrilled to see monkeys and other wildlife right from our room. We were particularly impressed with the staff and the high level of service. The food was delicious and the spa was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Although some of the facilities are a little dated and could use some maintenance, this didn't detract from our stay.
