"Large and impressive hotel in Westport located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of town. Very friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel. Our classic double room was spacious, spotless and well appointed with a great bathroom. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant- both experiences were very good with excellent food and service and great views. Plenty of free parking within the landscaped grounds. Would definitely stay again - unfortunately we only had one night and would have liked to stay longer. "

"This is a nice hotel - large reception with lots of seating areas, big restaurant/bar area, spa, beautiful grounds, walkable to the quay area for restaurants, and a long but doable walk to town. Mary at the front desk was very nice and gracious when we checked in and through our stay. Some negatives - the property and the rooms are showing some signs of age and wear. Carpets need refreshing. We found our bedroom to be spacious. Breakfast was a bit better than average, although the breakfast staff seemed inexperienced and not as well trained as in many hotel restaurants.
