"This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable nightā€™s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. Itā€™s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway. Two irritants (i) Adjustable Shaving / Make-up mirror, beside main mirror in bathroom was obviously broken-off from its bracket but had not been replaced, (i) breakfast was good apart from the bacon which was overcooked and dried out as it was probably cooked hours earlier and then kept hot."
