"The location is perfect. Great to walk to the shops, restaurants, boat tours, arcade, ice cream- everything you name it! We had a very comfortable, clean room. Kids loved the indoor pool and it's open late. Everyone was friendly. Parking was always available with in and out access but it is a shared public lot so sometimes we were further but always available. Great stay"

"The patio had lots of bird poop upon arrival. The staff cleaned the pillows but the sea gulls soiled the patio again. A cover over the patio to prevent such occurrences would be great our room was not refreshed one day because we slept in until 11. There should be afternoon refresh’s. The BBC water taxi and shuttle were excellent!"

"I think I’d give this property a 3.5 stars if I could! We stayed during the Newport Jazz Fest so prices were absolutely bonkers for what you actually get. The hotel itself is nice, they had ice bags available on every room as well. The cons: no in room fridge and the gym is very tiny. There’s also no pool or onsite restaurant. Though there’s one right across the warf. Parking is also $45 per night which I steep."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay.The apartment was very clean, very comfortable and very convenient to so many things to see and do in Newport.We walked almost everywhere and took an occasional Uber.The host gave us great restaurant recommendations and helpful tips to smoothly navigate the annual jazz festival.We'd love to come back and do it all again."

"This house is very clean and beautifully decorated with modern amenities. The rooftop views were stunning. The proximity to downtown was perfect for walking or a short 3/4 minute Uber/Lyft ride. The listing states 2 king size beds however, there are 2 queens upstairs and 1 king downstairs. The 3 bathrooms were a huge plus with 5 ladies! The house is completely stocked with anything you should need. There are 4 total flights of steps, be mindful if you are staying in the top unit, you will need to go up 2 flights before you are at the entrance. The host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!!!"
Sweet summer escape on Newport Harbor

"Super fun location, that made for a really fun 4th of July. Proximity to Fort Adams gave us the best vantage point for fireworks we could have had. House boat was very nicely made up for us, clean as could be. Comfortable bed, head was clean and functional. Water taxi was super convenient and easy to use, also allowed for awesome access to downtown Newport without needing to deal with cars or traffic. Fun to experience town from the perspective of a boater for once. Overall boat gave us an awesome private tanning/swimming platform for the holiday weekend. Also fun to watch Sail Newport boats go in and out."

"Gardenview B&B is located on a quiet street within 5 minutes of Newport's mansions and less than 10 minutes from Castle Hill Inn. But the best feature of Gardenview is its owner/proprietor, Mary Fitzgerald. Mary could not be more welcoming, going the extra mile to make her guests' visits as enjoyable as possible. She custom prepares breakfasts based on guests' preferences (pro tip: Mary makes an excellent omelet!). Rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. The downstairs room has direct access to a patio and beautifully planned and maintained garden. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because the system doesn't allow more."
