"This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. Two irritants (i) Adjustable Shaving / Make-up mirror, beside main mirror in bathroom was obviously broken-off from its bracket but had not been replaced, (i) breakfast was good apart from the bacon which was overcooked and dried out as it was probably cooked hours earlier and then kept hot."
