"Nice enough spot for the short time I was in Collingwood. This location IS close to a lot of dining options. I actually walked to a nice spot just a block or two away. Also close to the city park and lookout over the inlet. Very cramped area for parking and movement around the small property but enough, again, for the time I was there. No real ammenities ---- just a room and a parking spot. "

"A pure hidden gem. Tay Motel exceeded all of my expectations. The Managers Dayna and Jay were extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to walk to a great fishing area. It was an amazing stay and I definetly will be going back. "

"The location of the motel was perfect for spending the day at the beach. It was a simple 2 min walk to the water. The motel itself was very disappointing. It is very run down and in serious need of renovations. Our “suite” had two bedrooms with bunk beds in both. The beds were not comfortable. The room had a stale beer smell and did not seem very clean. Everything was dated and dusty. The small bathroom had a new sink, which was nice, but the shower was full of mildew and did not look clean. It...

"It really was bad. I couldn’t stay there. The room smelled of smoke, the decor needed some serious updating, there was mould in the tub, slow Internet & garbage left outside. It was clearly a weekly rental for people down on their luck. I didn’t feel safe. The desk attendant was kind and understood my decision to leave."
