Rooms are very very old. The air conditioning machines are just there for decoration because they do work. The bathroom is old, uncomfortable and not very clean. Parking was convenient.

Its an IBIS hotel, it's perfectly fine for the night but not exactly comfortable or updated. The carpets in the hallways are difficult to roll luggage over, and the rooms are overall dated. The location is great and the size of the room is great. Many things to the man working at the checking counter, he was incredibly kind and helpful!

Underground parking beneath the hotel was super convenient and they allowed us to leave the car past checkout so we didn’t have to hurry to get back from a last tour of the old city! The location is perfect just a short walk from everything! The breakfast was really good as well, the rooms clean and nice and very helpful staff! Top marks for a great place and great value!

Great service and perfectly situated

Perfectly situated in the old town of Bamberg. The garage under the hotel is perfect for a low cost. Great breakfast and the room has aircondition. The service was great as well with really friendly staff.

Breakfast wasn't worth the money. 1st morning the eggs + sausages were cold (heat plate wasn't on), 2nd day bacon and some rolls run out. Location was good, close to everything. Well, it's a small town so pretty much everything is close.

This is a two star hotel nothing more. Did I know that when booking it? Yes I did. I chose it for the location only. We had a lot of problems with checking in and parking. If you have a car it will take you awhile to figure out how to get in the property to check in. I ultimately snuck in behind someone who had their card key. Otherwise we would have been waiting all afternoon. You can only get in with a card key. The room itself is like staying in a dorm room. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed of my entire trip. Would I stay here again? Yes and only because it was so convenient.
