"Staff was great and very helpful. English ability varies but those who did speak were very engaged. Location was great to be close to but not exactly in the Old Town. One downside to location is that you might need to guide the less experienced ride share/taxi drivers since the Google / app maps can be a bit misleading in how to get there Only real issue is poor flushing toilet but that is common in many non Western countries so it comes with the territory if you plan to travel a lot"

"Good stay, pool bar was closed, maybe it’s the off season. Restaurant not open either. Pool is nice though. Convenient to elephant sanctuaries and shopping centers (we had a motorbike). Room was very clean and tidy. "

"Centara Grand Karon Beach has a beautiful setting overlooking the beach, it is well equipped for families with young kids from preschool to tweens offering shallow pools, lazy river, modest water slides and an adrenalin inducing rock jump. The rooms are very pleasant with great ocean views and there is also an adults only pool.
