"Lovely friendly couple who run the place and gave us a great breakfast mainly of home made things. Very nicely decorated (not surprising as she was an interior designer before she retired to the SouthWest of France) and extremely welcome swimming pool."

"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "
"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."
"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."
"We have just returned from a 2 wk stay at this stunning hamlet.Driving up to âNadalieâ takes your breath away, its beautiful. The buildings have been beautifully converted to a small village with white shingle, beautiful flowers & shrubs, grape vines & fruit trees, seating nooks everywhere to enjoy the surroundings, plenty of chairs & sun beds. The Gites are perfectly spaced so that you can get away and have some alone time if needed, or gather in the main house or games room, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Perfect for our dogs, as they could run free without any worry.Sadly the fabulous pool is not heated, so we couldnât use it often as it was just too cold, we had a few days of sunshine but also had rain. But it is the end of the season!Overall, we had a fabulous time at Nadalie, the owners Laure & her daughter Yseult were very attentive answering messages & sorting out any problems immediately, they very kindly gave my mum a gift for her birthday too.Whilst they do provide towels in the gites, they are a little tired and could do with replacing, a couple of big fluffy ones would be nice & make it a little more luxurious. We would definitely come back to the beautiful place, but maybe when itâs a bit warmer! Thankyou"
"Lovely stay and sad to leave after a week. Well equipped (especially with kitchenware) and good facilities. Good water pressure for the showers and lots of fans for the hotter days. House felt spacious for our 2 families. Loved eating outside and utilising the games room, BBQ and of course the swimming pool! Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Really enjoyed the short walk downhill to the village restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and well connected for exploring Bergerac and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend a stay here! "
