"Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. Johan was the front desk guy/manager and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony offered a spectacular view of the river and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend La Cas Verde!"

"Lovely hostel with great staff. We got the suite which is apart from the main building and has its own bathroom. A perfect little couples retreat! The bed was really comfortable too which can be hard to find!"

"Selina was an excellent place to stay! I LOVED IT! The location is great, just next to the main church and park. People in the front desk are all very kind. The room was also spacious and comfortable. I also have to mention that I loved the breakfasts there and the people serving the breakfast were also very polite. Can't wait to be back! "

"This hotel does a great job of everything in my opinion. They have lovely grounds, the staff is all happy too help with anything, you have access to a large jug of drinking water so can cut down on single use bottles, breakfast was perfect for me with two eggs cooked to request, a bowl of fruity, a large fruit juice, two croissant type rolls with butter and jelly and a personal pot of coffee or two large mugs worth with cocoa powder on the table and milk if you like. It is indeed an uphill walk home three to four blocks of gentle slope and 1/2 that is steep but as a reward you have great views of the valley,a nice breeze and less noise than in town, and if the hill is too daunting a taxi from town will cost you $1.50 so at the price this hotel is still a bargain."
