"The house is very nice. Updated kitchen, all the bedrooms where a good size and the beds where all comfy. We had 9 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view from the living room was fantastic. I would highly recommend."

"This little house is perfect for a getaway to Acadia. We stayed in late October. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Bar Harbor, this is it. Surprisingly, it’s not a long drive from town, but it’s so quiet. We did two long full day hikes directly from the house. No need to drive! Check all trails for a trail leading directly from town to the quarry trail to Gorham Peak or the Ocean Trail. We found the short cut only on our way back. "The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was nicer and much larger than expected from the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable bed, large living room with multiple sofas, well appointed large kitchen and dining area. It is less than a mile from Southwest Harbor and easy access to Acadia. I would definitely stay here for future visits to Acadia area."

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"Staying here for the second time to visit Acadia NP. Very friendly staff, 24 hour coffee and cookies. Room service is by request once in 3 days, but fresh towels are available if needed daily. Breakfast menu is good with hot sausages, omlettes, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit choices but is the same every day. About 6 miles away from Bar Harbor downtown. The property area is clean with nice flower beds."
