The local town Spello is only 10 minutes drive away and is charming with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and and sights. "Location: well off the beaten track, high on the hillside. You can sometimes hear the road far below, but the aspect is lovely. The property: The Nest is beside the Tower, and discreetly placed among trellis-work, with its own private space. However, the access out to the pool and the gardens is so simple. "Ginestra is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The grounds and swimming pool are really good and there are views to Assisi (which you can walk to (35-40 minutes). The Property Management team are all very helpful and the food the prepare is very good as well as the local restaurants. On the negative side, we did not have very much outside space and our table and sitting area were part of a shared area where other guests had breakfast or dinner so was not very private. "The combined house was very spacious and comfortable. The host was very nice and so was his dog. The accommodation needed some maintenance though. The sink was a bit clogged up, nothing was really clean and some of the appliances needed to be renewed. We chose this accommodation partly because of the child friendliness with a playground and because of the possibility to dine at its restaurant.
