Cottages in Umbria

"The home worked out well for our party of 4. This was a very quiet and relaxing stay with proximity to Orvieto and Civita. The view across the valley of Orvieto was amazing at all hours of the day and we did a wine tasting and bought wine at the winery. The hostess was helpful and very nice. The only small negative was the location is roughly 40 mins from Orvieto, but the quiet setting and views made this worth it."

"We had a great time in the house"

"Beautiful property; host is kind, welcoming and accommodating, stayed in contact and easily reachable during our stay."

"Loved every moment here and will be back! Our “apartment” was adorable and perfect for two, beautiful landscapes and views, relaxing time by the pool was needed after so much exploring, host is phenomenal!"

"Good central location for exploring the green hart of Italy. We also adored the charming little garden and great view. It feels like a home away from home and it has everything you need, including in the kitchen. Thanks Kate!"

"Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of Spello among the olive groves. The pool is fab and our boys loved spotting the tractors."

"Long time ago we found this feeling good place - I call it ‚a diva‘ - hidden in a beautiful property. The atmosphere is unique. The trees, the space, the view, the aesthetic pool, the peaceful days, the daily easy going kiss your heart. Couldn‘t be better. The family restaurants are cooking the best Italian cuisine you can dream from. Your host is wonderful. Plus his two softly dogs too. I truly recommend SantaMaria. But be sure - it is hard to say goodbye after a while."

"Great villa split over two separate floors. Pool was perfect and cleaned daily. Great location close to montone with Perugia Arezzo and gubbio not far."

"The house is ideal for a couple or family with up to 3 children. It is off the beaten track but that is its charm. The views are senational and the house lacks for nothing for self catering. The local town Spello is only 10 minutes drive away and is charming with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and and sights. Most impottantly, Nadia, the owner is the most conscientious and solicitous of host. She speaks admirable English and visited every other day to check we were OK and to to clean...

"Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, ist jedoch sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es verfügt über 2 schöne Bäder, 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 kleine Küche und den Wohnraum. Der Pool liegt ca. 150 Meter entfernt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und absolut zuverlässig."

"The property itself was beautiful, from the lawns, gardens, and pool to the grape vines. It was relaxing to stay in the countryside, but close enough to walk to dinner one night. But don’t miss having dinner at their restaurant—the best antipasto plate!"

"Beautiful location and very peaceful. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely rebook."

"Very enjoyable"

Top verblijf!"

"The living room provided a warm atmosphere for movie nights with the kids. It had ample size and enough seating for everyone. Quick access to nearby stores made it easy to grab snacks whenever needed."

"Very nice appartment with individual style and fantastic view from the terasse.Host is living on the same ground and always ready to help if needed."

"Vi kom ned i gear, vi hyggede os, vi slappede helt af. Det eneste, vi manglede, var udsigt fra vores terrasse, som desværre ikke er mulig fra bolig 1, 2 og 3. "

"Non consiglio."

"This cottage was easy to locate and navigate on my own. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it an ideal place for unwinding."

"We had a fantastic experience here! The swimming pool was refreshing after a long day of exploring, The BBQ area was great for evening cookouts, Plus, the nearby restaurants offered delicious local dishes,"
