"Excellent stay and will be back. Pool was perfect for non-beach days. Room and kitchen were just what we wanted/needed for our stay. Beds were comfy Beaches, restos, and groceries were all a 10-15 easy walk away. Staff were friendly and always there for what you needed. A special kudos to the housekeeping ninjas who kept the place fresh each day 🙂 Loved our morning coffee and toast on the balcony with the birds and occasional monkey 😁 If I were to make any recommendations it would only be: Serrated knife for breads Faceloths added to the bath and hand towels provided Small broom and dustpan in the units allowing for self-cleaning on those sandy late afternoons. "

"Loved our room and view. We felt there was no communication from staff regarding our being able to dine at sister hotels or how to get there when the ferry wasn’t running. We heard from another guest that we could take the ferry to other hotels. The hotel should have told us that. The food was just ok and we expected it to be tastier and not such small portions. "

"This was not a true all inclusive resort. The majority of staff was not pleasant. The food was mediocre to be kind. However Barbados was a place I would travel to again more than likely it would be a different resort."

"This is what I’d put for the VRBO review.We stayed at the Birdsong in February 2026. My favourite part of this place was honestly the lush beautiful gardens and patio. We would often read on a lounge chair on the side of the house in the shade and enjoy the cool breeze during the afternoon. The inside of the place was beautifully decorated and well maintained by the owner. There is a lot of natural light and the decor is colourful and comfortable. Enough chairs in the living room to feel at ease and relax at the end of a day spent at the beach just 300 meters away.Lorraine was very responsive with any requests we may have. Also very helpful in arranging reservations for drives, restaurant reservations, etc. She also graciously let us stay a couple of hours longer on our departure date to accommodate us.It’s been a lovely vacation."

"No water for two days. Cold water after that for a further day. No activities for adults or children but was described in all inclusive. Lock on door not working - breach of security. No food available between meal times even though there should have been on the all inclusive plan. Meal was set menu. No Wi Fi for whole period. Refused to let us change room despite no water and a door that didn’t lock. No tables of umbrellas at outside bar - just chairs as tables and umbrrrllas were not delivered yet so could not dine or drink outside by beach bar "

"Really, everything. We’d never used VRBO before so we weren’t sure what to expect. All good. The place was “as presented” and we enjoyed every minute. The staff were friendly and professional which was appreciated. The host was also very responsive when we had questions. All in all, a great vacation. "
