The Waves Resort is such a beautiful property with an attentive and lovely staff. Zoe, Daron and others welcomed us warmly immediately and graciously upgraded our room upon request. Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. Our room was beautiful and the meals were delicious and healthy. We couldn’t ask for a better vacation- it was exactly what we needed: peace, quiet and rejuvenation.

The most amazing staff ever.Have stayed at multiple 4-5 star properties and this one outdoes them all as far the staffing goes.Food was amazing and they listened and delivered everything that was requested.Chefs are definitely very skilled over all except for the DOSA restaurant.

Waves was the best choice for us! The resort was beautiful and well maintained. Our ocean front room was absolutely amazing! The ocean in Barbados is one of the best! Our hotel was on the west side, which has brilliant calm, blue seas. They had water sports included as well as all inclusive. Only 2 restaurants on site, but they had a water taxi running most of the day that we could use for a day pass at 4 other Marriott resorts. Many evenings they had live music. The Spa was really good with wonderful staff: Janine and Sheena! The staff were hands down amazing! They catered to us like we were royalty. My partner celebrated his birthday during our stay and was treated like a king. The staff was extremely friendly. We can’t remember all the names but here are a few that made our stay memorable: Crystal, Loreal, Kevin, Devan, Charlene, Valerie, Jennifer and many more! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We hope to return!!

From the moment you get in, you are welcome with such a joy of friendliness. The staff is super attentive to cater to any of your needs. I am a pescatarian and I was able to speak to the chef personally about my diet, and they made accommodations with no hesitations. If you want a quiet, small quaint resort experience, this is the place to go. I enjoyed my stay.

I want to start by saying the staff was amazing and very accommodating at waves resort. Our issue was the tiny beach, tiny pool and limited food options. It wasn’t clear that the water taxi that could take you to sister resorts to eat didn’t run at night. This is the most important meal, in my opinion. But they were very gracious about moving us to a resort that fit our needs better.

I checked in very late, but front desk staff was so heplful and patient. The all-inclusive food was very good (breakfast,dinner). The grab and go cafe was so convenient and thoughtful- which I was able to bring to the beach and enjoy. The on-site direct beach access is definetly what you need in Barbados as the beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches you will ever enjoy. They also offer a water taxiat no additional price to visit the sister properties in which you can enjoy the amenities/grounds as well, wow! The beach is the calmer side as the beaches closer to airport can be rough. Staff was always so helpful, kind, approachable and sweet. Barbados truly has some of the most kindest people I have ever been around. I would absolutely would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property to other travelers. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were consistently kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. My only concern was the crosswalk situation when traveling between different areas of the property. At times it felt unsafe to cross, especially when traveling with children. I also felt for the employees who have to navigate this area daily. I understand that traffic patterns and pedestrian rules can vary by country, but improving the safety and ease of crossing would make the guest experience even better. Other than that, everything was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future.

It was perfect for us. Excellent service from all staff. Very clean. Beach clean. Small but lovely beach. Food mostly good. We preferred the buffet in the evening rather than the al a carte. Watersports were great for our 15 year old. Spa was was great for my husband. The beach was great for swimming and relaxing for me.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Anniversary in Barbados! This was our first trip to Barbados, and we chose Waves Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What an incredible experience from beginning to end! We absolutely fell in love with Barbados — such a beautiful island with the warmest people — and Waves made our anniversary trip even more special. Our room was beautiful, with the most stunning ocean view. Waking up to that view every morning was everything! The property itself is gorgeous, the beach is beautiful, and there’s such a relaxing, intimate feel to the resort. We truly had a fantastic time. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond. The hospitality never felt forced — we felt cared for throughout our entire stay. very special thank u to Tamisha Forde, the Front Desk Manager for helping set the tone for such wonderful service, as well as Alexis and Zoe at the front desk, who were always so kind and helpful. Antoine and Kevin from Activities were fantastic and added so much fun and personality to our stay. Latoya and Sarafina at the bar kept the good vibes (and drinks!) flowing, Jennifer, our lovely hostess, always greeted us so warmly, and Devon, our bell hop, was wonderful and so helpful. The view from the ocean front rooms is absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing! They were all so friendly and very attentive, but had a few favorites: Christine, Jennifer, Olivia and Devon that made our stay feel special. The food was delicious every single meal. We will 100% be back again.
