It’s a good location for exploring Barcelona. The staff are nice. The rooms are smaller than what we’re used to in the US but they were comfortable. The only drawback is that the rooms have thin walls. You can hear your neighbors talking.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Alexandra Hotel for three days, and it was an exceptional experience! 🌟 The hotel’s location was so close to the shops! Everything was walking distance. Even the infamous Batllo was only 5 minutes away (by foot)! Our room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed and stunning views of the city. 🛌✨ The pool area is perfect for lounging and unwinding, they have a bar right next to it. Breakfast was fantastic, offering a delightful variety of delicious options that we both loved. 🥐🍓 The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent local recommendations that truly enhanced our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and can't wait to return! 🇪🇸❤️

Excellent! The staff were always friendly.. we arrived from miami at 10am had not slept at all. The hotel had our room ready ! That was such a great help and was able to rest peacefully hours ! The restaurant in their hotel is amazing ! Had breakfast was great ! We loved their options and cleanliness. Food amazing and fresh. The dinner was a must ! Elegant and delicious. We had reserved a queen bed room and they gave us two double bed room. The cleaning staff started vacuuming the hallway outside our room at 8 in morning and we could not sleep after a late night event

We payed 200euro per night and they Were renovating a room just above ours, so for two mornings in a row all we could hear was hammers and drill machines.

Dangerous

Have stayed here twice before. Stayed in a superior room this time. Lampshade on bedside light was unscrewed which was odd. More sinister was the fact that the rainforest shower-head was also unscrewed and fell when my wife turned on the shower. The shower head was heavy - must have been 2 Kg. Lucky that it didn’t hit her. Reception apologised and fixed it but no further contact about the incident, which was disappointing.

The property was fantastic, the only problem I had was my airline cancelled my flight and I was a day late. Because it had been booked through Expedia I could not get a refund for the first night I missed due to less than 24 hours notice. Even though the one at fault was the airline

The front desk reception and all staff were excellent. Spoke English really well. Our room, a junior suite was modern, clean and comfortable. More USB ports would have been handy. Bring the proper plug adaptors. The shower floor was slippery and no mat was provided. We should have asked. The location is fabulous for high end shopping and walking distance to Gracia. Loved Barcelona.
