We chose to be close to Sagrada Família, the hotel is two blocks away. It’s a little far away from La Rambla, though. The room was great.

I spent a night there, unfortunately the reviews do not meet the expectations. a 4 star hotel is certainly not, the building is very old and in poor condition, the photos are probably improved, because the hotel does not look like the photos, I would not recommend this hotel.

La chambre était confortable mais un peu vieillotte. Nous avions une chambre avec terrasse, ce que nous avons bien apprécié. La terrasse est vraiment le highlight de la chambre alors on recommande. L'hôtel manque de services, pas vraiment de restaurant/bar sauf le lobby bar, qui est plus un comptoir de service qu'un bar-lounge ou prendre un verre. Équipement limité dans les chambres, juste une bouilloire avec café instantané, et les peignoirs étaient sales à notre arrivée. Seulement un employé à la fois à la réception, donc nous devons souvent attendre pour avoir de l'assistance s'il y a d'autres clients, ce qui est parfois un peu ennuyeux. Le quartier est un peu éloigné du centre, il faudra 20-30min de marche pour aller presque n'importe où, sauf la Sagrada Familia qui est à 10min de marche. Le metro est juste à coté et à 2-3 stations des meilleurs quartiers (Passeig de Gracia, Universitat) donc plutôt bien pour cela, sinon la réception peut appeler un taxi facilement. Correct, sans plus, résume vraiment notre impression de cet hôtel. Plus un 3* qu'un 4* selon nous.

Unfortunately we had problems with our key cards not working to open our rooms. It happened various times even after having them reprogrammed. Otherwise the rooms were very clean and quiet.

We were surprised to find out bed was two twins pushed together but they were very comfortable. Our room on the second floor was extremely noisy! There was traffic noise and garbage trucks in the very early morning. Perhaps a higher floor would be better. Our receptionists were absolutely amazing. They were informative and helpful and really good at their jobs. They even got us last minute tickets for Familia Sagrada when it was sold out! They made our stay really nice. Thank you!!
