This property was in a great location for us to walk the city. It was convenient to restaurants, shopping and to many sites to visit. The management was great to deal with from start to finish. We would definitely stay at this property again.

It was very good overall. The apartment was clean, and very central to our plans. We had a rough start. No one met us to explain locks and AC, although we knew this ahead of our trip, but we had problems and wish someone did meet us. There was No electronic lock on street door and we couldn’t get in until we saw someone leave. The apartment door electronic lock worked, and that is when we found the key to the street door( which doesn’t make sense). The AC was working. I discovered on the next day that the circuit breaker was shut off and once on apartment cooled down. Also on the our first morning we found the apartment electronic door lock on the floor in the hall. I am not sure what happened or if it was a failed breakin. I managed to reinstall electronic lock and it worked. I couldn’t call management company as I had no cellular but I messaged management when I connected to the WI-FI. After all that our experience was great.

Great Location and space

Property Manager lacks communication. There were no sponges or dishtowels. Sofabed couch is bad for sitting and does not close completely. Time for a new one. Unit is large, clean, and in a great location.

Truly Terrible Bed

We stayed 8 days at this location. We loved the location for convience to local area. The unit is consistent with the pictures and amenities on the listing and we enjoyed our time there. However the bed in the master bedroom was unbearably hard. To the extent it woke us up multiple time each night which obviously had a significant impact on our overall comfort and enjoyment of the stay. We requested a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable and the property management company indicated it was a new bed less than 1 year old and there was nothing that could be done.

Uitstekende locatie ! Sleutelsysteem via de app werkte prima. Appartement is groot, prima bedden en douches. Fijn verblijf gehad. Enige minpuntje: vaatwasser??

excellent location - lot of space in the apartment

This is a great property, the check-in process could be slightly easier, but overall a 5/5, we were there for 5 nights, it's in the heart of El Born & everything is at a walkable distance. Nicole from the apartments team was extremely helpful, & I would definitely be staying with them again.

Good stay!

Apartment is good. It is managed by a management company. Communication can be slow to get response. TV did not work and it took 3 days for a response to request. Mattresses are very firm. Apartment did feel safe and secure. Location is great!

Lovely apartment in El Born

We loved everything about this apartment. Spacious, modern, and clean. With washer/dryer, great for longer trips. Can't say enough about location. We walked to the beach at Barceloneta, the Gothic Quarter, El Raval, Las Ramblas, and the market at la Boqueria. We used Google maps to help us with navigating public transportation. The neighborhood is an oasis away from traffic, packed with restaurants and tapas bars, charming stores, and little grocery stores, all right outside the front door. Safe to walk around at night. Loved our stay.

Good location

Great location , but the furniture needs updating and the mattresses on the beds were very hard. We waited 30 minutes for our host to let us in and then he added additional charges to our contract. I would not recommend this particular apartment.

Great Location and Comfortable Apartment

Very well positioned if you like to be near the bars, cafes and sights of the Born area - you won't run out of choices! Lots of sights in walking distance and the Metro isn't too far (Jaume 1 or Arc de Triomphe). Apartment has most things you'll need - some of thre furniture is showing a bit of use, as are the bathrooms - but still useable. Little balcony is handy for a coffee in the fresh air (bit of a squeeze!) and a view of the street below, which is busy during the day and evening, but not a traffic thoroughfare, so just feels nicely lively. Decent cafes just on the doorstep, so handy for a late breakfast! Note that on arrival, the agent was waiting in the apartment, so had to ring as we didn't know which buzzer to press (entrance from the square, 2A on 2nd floor from memory). Enjoyed our 3 nights there, so worth a go if you fancy this area.

Close to Shops and Restaurants

Secure apartment on second floor with good elevator. Apartment entrance opens out to small plaza with outdoor cafes followed by endless shops and restaurants down the streets and a large fresh food market nearby. Overall, apartment in pretty good shape (except for some minor floor damage) and stocked with all the cooking hardware needed; except for a dishwasher. Be sure to pay balance for apartment before the arrival due date, or pay extra local taxes.

Barcelona - great place in town

This apartment is in a really great location and neighborhood. The view off the small balcony was really nice. Fun seeing people coming and going. Would recommend. Second shower very small. A few things that needed attention in the place, but altogether, happy we were there!

Great location but tired apartment and poor service

The location in the old town is fabulous. Had difficulty finding the address upon arrival. The cab driver was little help. Upon arriving, the representative was in the apartment, rather than on the street outside, as agreed. This caused confusion. The apartment is tight for two adult couples. Very little hanging space or drawers. Very little room in one of the one of the bathrooms. The couch and chairs needed to be cleaned, as did the bathrooms where there was black mold. Several lights were not working. One of the shower heads fell off, as did one of the shower soap dispensers. We barely had enough toilet paper for our stay. A day before departing, we requested transportation to the airport. It didn't come. When we called, the representative said we were supposed to get confirmation from the transport company directly, which was never explained. They suggested we call and provided the number. We rolled our luggage a few blocks and fortunately were able to catch a taxi pretty easily. When we were halfway to the airport, they called to say the transportation would be at our apartment to pick us up in 5 minutes. Glad we built in extra time to get to the airport.

Comfortable apartment on a mini-plaza

At check-in and very explicitly on the agreement we signed, guests are expected to wash all kitchen items used...something we ALWAYS do anyway...But there wasn’t a dish-drying rack provided. Minor complaint, but be advised that the excessively large “security “deposit” could be forfeited if dishes are left unwashed!

Everything is Worn Down

The furnishings in this unit are not as pictured--they are at the end of their usable lives. The furniture is disgusting, we really did not want to even sit on the upholstered surfaces. They were stained, warn, cushions flattened and dirty, holes in the upholstery, etc. The showers all leak, the tile is all loose, the moldings are all damaged from water damage. The floors in many places are worn to the sub-flooring. The beds are just gross, slumped on the edges, hard, dirty, uncomfortable. The sheets were clean, blankets not so much. When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned, the property managers apologized profusely, but offered no mediation. We were told we had to immediately pay additional city tax fees, even though our VRBO booking said paid in full. The house keeper arrived and did an amazing job, but could not correct the issues listed above. She really was wonderful. Habitat was terrible. Their response was basically "Nothing we can do", basically a big "tough luck". We had no other options, it was impossible to get a last minute hotel. Habitat was also completely non-responsive to e-mails during our stay, I had hoped to book an airport shuttle through them--no reply. The internet is worthless, it keeps dropping and is not accessible from 1/2 of the unit. It's also extremely slow. The ONLY positive aspect about this place was the location, it was perfect! This is the only reason it gets ONE star, otherwise I would say none. I doubt this review will even make it on VRBO, they keep changing the listing number in order to hide negative reviews. Stay somewhere else in El Born, with another company!

Great location!

We were two couples staying for a week in Barcelona. This was our first time in the city and we lucked out with this apartment. It was located in the middle of the El Born neighborhood, walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The place was good for 4 people and we were comfortable there. Tons of natural light in the main living area and a nice, small balcony for viewing what's up below. Check in was easy. If pressed for feedback, I'd say that the kitchen is not really ready for people to do much cooking and we had to wash our glasses and mugs before using them. They were put away in the cabinet dirty by someone prior to our arrival. The beds are hard as rocks, but I think this is standard in Europe? The second bedroom doesn't have a closet and that was a bit difficult since we were living there for the week. I like to hang my things up while traveling.
