Description of the apartment -
· This quiet and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is on the 5th floor of an 100-year-old modernist building. The floors are still the original colorful mosaic (a different design in every room), and the ceilings are 9 feet high. There is an elevator, air conditioning, central heating, and a full kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes, etc.

The building has a roof terrace, with tables and chairs, plenty of sunshine, and views to Sagrada Familia. Please note it is a shared terrace.

Equipment - SAFE in the master bedroom.
Private LAUNDRY ROOM inside the apartment with a washing machine and a dryer.
A/C and heating.
We supply LINENS and TOWELS, and a starter supply of soap and SHAMPOO and other essentials.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning, with vents in all of the bedrooms, and in the living and dining room.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. A taxi lane runs in front of the apartment.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 4 people. It can sleep up to 4.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 for occupancy. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Reserved early check-in or late check-out for half the nightly rate, subject to availability.
There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.
FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE in our office when you arrive before check in or depart after check out time. We have our office in the building next door.

Perfect location

Check-in was very easy via VRBO messages - and even though the rental agency is nextdoor we never had to bother them. The apartment was clean and relatively quiet considering the location. There are signs everywhere asking to be quiet but on one night some neighbours were up til 3am. All other nights were peaceful. The space was fine for two adults and two children. Definitely recommend this rental.

Great time in Barcelona

Very quaint and perfectly located property within walking distance from the old city and the Gracias neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and communication with the hosts was easy. Only issue was the clothes washer leaked, but no big deal. We would definitely stay here again.

This beautiful property was a lovely surprise! Beautifully presented with all the amenities you’d ever need. Excellent location, close to metro and round the corner from Sagrada Família. Couldn’t ask for more :)

Great location

The location was great for Cathedral and Las Ramblas. Apartment generally ok and clean except for bathroom, mouldy silicon which can happen but orange mould in shower was bad.

Location, location, location.

First, if you expect a 5 star hotel look elsewhere. Apartment is functional and clean. We stayed for a week. Check in was easy and communication was responsive. Location is a 12 minute walk to Famiila and 15 to casa Batllo. There are many great restaurants and metro transportation nearby. Our visit to Barcelona was amazing Indiana couple.

Review

The apartment was great, it was in a really nice neighborhood; just a few minutes/blocks from la Sagrada Familia and it had a lot of restaurants & bars nearby. The checking process was smooth and the hosts were really attentive. It was really spacious for the four of us. It had a nice kitchen, an air conditioner and a water heater; all of this was a need and a plus for us. Good stay!

Excellent location

Flat in great location. Only 5 mins brisk walk from Familia Sagrada and you can walk to the port/ beach within 30 mins. Park Gruell 30 mins walk but up slight incline. Supermarkets and restaurants all in close proximity. The flat has everything we needed but it did look tired with one wash hand basin not working and an old shower. Just needs more tender care/ updating but this did not detract from an enjoyable stay.

Perfect Barcelona get away

Thanks so much for letting us use your lovely Barcelona apartment. It was a perfect getaway! We were able to dine on the sunny porch in the mornings, and had Christmas dinner under the fading glow of sunset. The bed was so comfortable, and honestly we never even touched the thermostat. It is located about 5-10 minute walks from 3 different metro stops, and the market 2 blocks down is so amazing. We ate at the apartment far more than we went to restaurants because all the local food was just so great. What a fantastic stay! Thanks

Perfect location

Would save this for my next trip to Barcelona. Already recommending to friends planning to go to BCN. We ended up staying at another property they owned, as the original place we reserved needed emergent maintenance. The other property was only 2 buildings down, and I would say it was luke being upgraded. Thank you to the hosts ! Couldn't ask for anything more. Neighborhood market, mercat la concepcio, is only 2 blocks away. And there are many convenience stores nearby. Historic St. Francesc de Sales church is only a few steps away. Definitely would book again !

Decent place

Initial communication with owner wasn’t great but once we arrived, Lilliana was very helpful and attentive. Apt was clean and comfortable but the bed was much smaller than I expected for a double bed…very hard for 2 adults to sleep there. No wash cloths provided which wouldn’t have been a big deal if we had known ahead of time so we could bring our own. Good Wi-Fi, excellent neighborhood! Nice kitchen to make our own food and the instructions for how to use the washer/dryer was very helpful!

Good location

Was disappointed there was only a washing machine, no dryer. Check-in was a little complicated due to the office & the facility being in two different locations. Would have been nice to receive the check-in information earlier as we were on a transatlantic cruise for 12 days prior to reaching Barcelona & did not have access to our email. Appreciated being able to store our luggage in the office while waiting for the rooms to be ready. The toilet room was very same, commode & very small sink. This was separate from the shower room which also had a sink. Very nice place to eat brunch just across the street. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood & to many of the attractions. Location was ideal.

Great location/Adorable traditional ambiance!

This apartment was exactly what my friend and I were looking for on our first time visit to Barcelona! It was exactly as the pictures portrayed(with a few “minor” upgrades). We did have a situation of water leaking down in to the apartment below but that was quickly resolved by Lilianna the “greeter”. The washer was a little bit of a challenge(we didn’t know what the icons meant) but overall, this place is a traditional, cozy, safe place to stay! Most of our exploring was within walking distance and whatever else we wanted to venture and see was accessible by the metro station which was only a short walk. We did experience the breakfast spot on the corner called “Billy Brunch”. It was delicious just as the other reviewers had stated! I personally would stay here again and would highly recommend this place to others! Thank you for a great experience!

Apartment is good, spacious, can be a bit more modernised. Maybe some detailed instructions about the use of the heating/aircon system is welcome. 3 main bad points: a good matrass is lacking (this 1 was 2000yrs old - my poor back), hot water for the shower was terrible - washing your hair is torture. Last but not least - Internet was bad, perhaps it was shared with other apartments.

Location, location and traditional, old school charm.

When we left, we discussed reconfiguring our trip to come back for another day or 2. Just a 10-12 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia made it a fabulous for daily access to the hop on hop off bus! ( i highly reccomend the bus because it was a fabulous way to get around the city. ) taxis were readily available at every hour. We saw 3 pass beforeaking it to the corner to hail ours at 5:45am for the airport. There are soooo many great little spots within seconds for coffe, tapas, chill time, etc. We highly reccoment a visit to Samuel at Bull brunch downstairs. We started or ended our evening there often. Billy Brunch is a delicious breakfast place. And, if you walk too far away, cabs ate plentiful and very cheap. You seriously cant beat the location. The apartment was certainly dated (alot added to the charm, some you accepted because the location was perfect). You felt like you lived in Barcelona not like you wete in a vacation hotel. We were definately grateful for the elevator after so many steps each day.
