the hotel is close to Placa Catalunya + Ramblas + passeig de Gracie it is walkable to all sites in BCN. + restaurants are all over this hotel. laundromat is a close walk taxi is easy the front desk is helpful with taxi service. the complain are the stairs leading to Gravina II. it is quite a climb if you have luggages in tow. the elevator is small as the same as any other in EU. but overall nice room quiet clean and we have a nice balcony with Placa Catalunya as our view so that is very nice

They say they have air con and technically do, but it trickles out and doesn't turn that cold. I was there during the 35c heatwave and mummy rum wouldn't go below 23.5c which for me was not good. Walls were also thin and could hear nearby guests. However the breakfast was good. Hotel is in a good location. I would consider straight there again in cooler weather but not for me than s couple of nights

Great location, basic hotel with everything needed for a city stay. The family room was tiny and the sofa bed was very squeaky and creaky. Breakfast was good, not amazing! Shower was very good and everything was clean.

This was a very clean and well renovated hotel for the centre of Barcelona. It is well located and there are many transportation options nearby. There is Air conditioning but it is tricky. The light switch to the room has to be turned on for it to work so we had to figure out how to keep it on the whole time. When cleaning came in, they turned it off, so when we came back at the end of the day, the room was stifling hot. It took some time for the temperature to come down. The staff said they could do nothing about the cleaning staff turning it off. All in all it was a good experience for just a couple days.

This was an excellent base to explore Barcelona. We were a family of 4 with 2 children. The room was nicely appointed. A bit tight, but that is not uncommon for city properties. Location-wise- it was a quick walk to everything that was on the bukcet list to see and with the major transit routes within quick walking distance. There is an off site underground parking just 30 seconds away, so if you have a car, it's easy to park and access it. There is also a large grocery store 1 minute away- great to stock up on snacks, or bread and cheese and things like that if you are looking to stretch your funds by preparing some smaller meals. The best thing was the staff here. Very kind, very helpful. We travel alot and are used to very stand offish staff who greet us- the staff here genuinely engaged, empathised when we had a delay with our cruise boarding, and provided helpful options and solutions. Honestly, I am so very happy we booked here.
