I had booked a trip. The day I arrived I told the staff at hotel that we could not stay the 6th night. They said “we will email Expedia”. Well Expedia said they wouldn’t refund and neither would hotel even though we gave 5 days notice upon check in. Expedia blamed hotel and hotel blamed Expedia. Neither cared about the customer. Tough luck they said.

Room needed a refresh. Cracked tile grout, rusting radiator, bad fixes everywhere, paint where it shouldn't be, wardrobe light was irritating to turn off as it was linked to the doors being open, and they didn't close properly. The swimming pool area is in need of a refresh too, rusting screws, warped boards amongst other things. We were woken up by a shower being used at 2am, so it's not sound proofed well. Our room had two beds pushed together, with separate sheets and duvets, rather than a single duvet for us to share. Staff frequently using the one lift to the rooftop bar/pool, so getting up can take a long time. Certainly not 5* quality.

Overall, a good stay. The room was basic but clean, comfortable, and quiet—did the job. Bathroom was a bit cramped, with a small basin, and storage in bedroom could’ve been better (more drawer space would help). The low shower was slightly awkward, likely because it was an accessible room. The standout was the rooftop bar—great spot to unwind after a long day. Location is a major plus: right in central Barcelona with everything within easy walking distance and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Only real downside was breakfast—it was fine, but not what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. All in, a solid, well-located hotel that delivers where it matters.

Disposition de la chambre un peu particulière avec un énorme couloir d’entrée sans mobilier, froid et sans porte vers espace sdb, surprenant, l’espace chambre avec le lit est bien mais petit… avions demandé une double et avons eu une twin…
