The Grande II Apartment, for Families only.

--Accommodation for families only. Guests need to be quiet at night while in the apartment. We do NOT accept stays of group of guests under 21 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults (over 30 y.o.)--

Accessibility - 3 floors above street level. Elevator

Apartment description - Bright and pretty 3.5 bedroom apartment (like a 4 bedroom, except access to one of the rooms is through another room) with 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, the other with shower.
This apartment has a glass-enclosed balcony, as well as a small balcony off the main bedroom. Also, it still has the century-old mosaic floors (a different design in every room), the original woodwork on the doors and windows, and high ceilings.

Full kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator.

Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

42" flat screen TV in living room.

For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning and heating, with ducts.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at a short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.

Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 20 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 4 holiday apartments in Istanbul.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) but in just one of the bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are very quiet.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 8 people. It can sleep up to 8.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 (4 PM) for occupancy. You can drop your bags in the office in the morning already. Check-out time is 11;00 AM. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a fee of half of the nightly rate, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.

Towels and linens are provided, plus a starter supply of shampoo and soap, oil, salt and sugar, coffee.

We had a fantastic stay in Barcelona! The apartment was perfect—clean, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning, which was a huge plus in the summer heat. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk from the stunning Sagrada Familia (15 min walk(. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Best place and incredible value

We LOVED this apartment so much. The location is unbeatable and the space was perfect for our family. I just can’t recommend this spot enough and on top of that they were so kind and helpful to us when one of our family members was sick. Also we all absolutely fell in love with Barcelona! Looking forward to returning to the city and this rental property one day.

Good Residential Location Near Sagrada Familia

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was overall clean. Would've liked the TV to have a smart feature to be able to login to Netflix or something since most of the channels were in Spanish, which is to be expected. Next time we'd probably bring a fire stick or something. We had one person in our party with mobility issues, and saw that it has an elevator. I felt I should write here that while it does have an elevator, it is not wheelchair accessible. The entry door requires you to step over the door threshold, approximately 4-5", and go up a flight of stairs to reach the elevator. Not a big deal, but if you're expecting a ground floor elevator with no stairs, this isn't it. This is no big deal so long as everyone in your party doesn't have an issue with stairs. The bathtub requires stepping into, and you have to step-up into the shower for the 2nd bathroom.. so if you have anyone who can't do that, steer clear. We would otherwise recommend the unit.The beds were comfortable, there were several spots with plugs (European style, so bring your adapter if you don't have Euro-style plugs.) The main bathroom toilet kind of kept running awhile after flushing, but eventually stopped. There was a bit of rust in the bathtub, but otherwise clean and fine. They had an office location a couple doors down toward the corner where we were able to store our luggage after checkout at no additional cost, which was a very nice feature that we appreciated.

Perfect spot for a Barcelona Holiday!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, light-filled apartment on Carrer de Valencia. It was well furnished and very comfortable. We especially loved the location which provided us with a neighborhood filled with markets, bars and restaurants and easy access to public transportation. The apartment's kitchen was relatively well-equipped enabling us to make coffee and breakfast in the morning at our own pace, prior to setting out for an action-packed day full of sight-seeing and adventure. The roof deck was an added bonus, with clear views of the Sagrada Familia and the surrounding neighborhood. The books on Barcelona were a great resource for each and every day. Overall, we had a memorable trip to this magnificent city and our accommodations made the trip even more so.
