Bari is a city that captivates not only travelers’ eyes but also their palates, with its street food and traditional Apulian dishes: from “sgagliozze” to fried panzerotti, from raw seafood (mussels, oysters, baby octopus) to fava bean purée, from Bari-style prosciutto crudo to orecchiette with turnip greens. It is a city that, over the years, has transformed its historic center into a hub for young people and adults alike, thanks to its trendy and sophisticated venues—but that’s not all, as it also offers a wealth of attractions for culture-loving tourists. There are many events and festivals, such as the San Nicola Fair in May, and especially the Fiera del Levante, an international trade fair, which takes place in September. The Fair aims to promote trade between the East and West, for which Bari has traditionally served as the most accessible meeting point.
The apartment is in an excellent location: a 3-minute walk from the waterfront, in one of the city’s liveliest areas, bustling with live concerts, the Feast of St. Nicholas, and numerous street food events
