"Check-in and Check-out staff were great, Property felt safe, very clean. Weathered a really bad storm with very little outside noise into room which was great. Property does have direct TV so signal was lost on many stations due to inclement weather. Breakfast is provided, great waffle maker, link sausages and cereal selection, would have like to have seen eggs as a selection. All in all I was pleased with the price per night and the condition of the property two blocks from airport. "

"Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!"

"I had a lovely stay the rooms were free of roaches, smelled great and very clean. Over the last few months I’ve seen amazing changes here. I really appreciate the housekeeper Lulu she went out of her way to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible, Thank you"

"The hotel is a bit outdated. But other wise a nice hotel. The only thing that i have to say is that we came in a room after a dog and the floor had poop in the corner. We let the hotel staff know and they took care of it. We will come back in the future"

"Great cheap spot "

"Had to book a different hotel and they refused to give a refund. Hotels.com also refused to help. A roach was on the wall. Everything was filthy and stained. "Large" twin bed sofa was tiny and disgusting. It was not a safe place to stay. Items were in disrepair. Lights did not work. Bathrooms were gross. Microwave was crooked and falling down. Counters were sticky. Maybe the lights did not work because they were hoping you would not see the roaches or the stains."
