"The room was good enough, however there was mold on the walls. The host was amazing and he helped me arranged everything, the breakfast was very good as well. However the location is about 25 minutes taxi driver from the historic center which will cost you a $20 taxi. And therefore you will have to pay that every time you want to come into the marina and take a tour. And then going back as well. The area where the posada is located is not very busy and it can feel a bit scary if you want to...

"Our stay at Casa Mar was such a great experience. The staff really took care of us and couldn't have asked for a better time there. We really appreciated that its located in a beautiful quite cove away from Paraty, but close enough (10-15 min) drive to the town for dinner and exploring. We would highly recommend it."

"We were disappointed with our stay at Apple House in Paraty. For the price, we expected a much higher standard. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, and the bathroom tap was rusty, which made it feel poorly maintained. The room was also very cold, and there were very few amenities considering what you’re paying.
