"This hotel was a historic property dating back to the 14th century. Walking the cloisters and hallways was magical. Don’t miss the museum in the crypt below the hotel. So much history, dating back to the Bronze Age. I have never stayed in such an amazing property. Magnificent!"

"Fantastic stay. We stayed for a couple of nights but wish we could have had longer to enjoy the views. This is a very special place. We had a wine tasting with Jacinta which was very special - a vertical Verdelho tasting where we drank 5 different vintages . Will be back!"

"Great location! Check in was easy, the kitchen is well equipped and smartly located next to the outdoor dinning. Plenty of room in the garage…we allocated three cars. The house has very good size, living room, kitchen and bedrooms are large and comfortable. We spent great family time "
"The property and staff is OUTSTANDING! Gorgeous! Fabulous service and surroundings!!! ONLY ISSUE is you cannot leave the property to go to dinner or to the beach without paying 110 euros to get there and back. They should have a shuttle to Comporta but do not. No offense to the team it is a gorgeous hotel, pool, restaurant, etc!"
