"Pousada D’ Areia was excellent. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming. We were checked in very efficiently. The rooms were very clean and organized. The breakfast was delicious, and had a nice variety. The manager Vânia made my wife’s birthday very special, by decorating our room per request. And all of the staff were very helpful, and friendly."

"This location was clean and pleasant - and about a 10-15 min walk to the centre of town with all the restaurants - which felt totally safe. It was just a very cute but basic 3 star hotel - we went during very high season so the price was high and all other hotels were sold out. "

When we arrived they informed us that the pool would be close. In fact it was closed until the day we left. Room had no window, basically a jail Cell !!! Absolutely terrible room. At least the staff was very nice"
