The breakfast was delicious, and had a nice variety. The manager Vânia made my wife’s birthday very special, by decorating our room per request. "Overall, the place was great. The staff was really humble and helpful; the general amenities were good and spacious; there’s a pool and breakfast buffet. The place is close to the main town but you’ll either need a car or find transportation. There is transportation available though (from the local services…). Getting to the place could be a little bit difficult unless you are used to driving in a non pavement road. Once you get familiarized with the area and get the feeling of the town you’ll...

"Terrible room. Not even one Chair to seat or a sofá. no drowers for clothing or a place to Hang clothes….. nothing at all . Had to put my stuff on the floor. When we arrived they informed us that the pool would be close. In fact it was closed until the day we left. Room had no window, basically a jail Cell !!! Absolutely terrible room. At least the staff was very nice"

"This is a very basic posada in a great location within easy walking distance to the river district. AC and WiFi worked well during my stay. The on-site staff were helpful and tolerant of my lack of Portuguese. Breakfast was nothing extravagant but just fine."
