"We only had a couple of nights here before we flew home from Panama. The Amarla is a very chic little hotel, well situated in Casco Viejo lovely rooms and decor throughout. Angel was at reception while we were there, he was very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This is a 1 star hotel, definitely not a 3 star. As you enter, the lobby and elevator can pass for a 2/3 star hotel. Once you get to the hallways to the rooms, it is barely a 2 star. I took pictures of the ceiling in the living area that show pealing paint on 1/2 of the ceiling and an air conditioner from Y2K."

"I didn't get the exclusive room that i paid for. I got a room with 3 beds. Walls were dirty, wall paper peeling off. Only good thing was breakfast. It was good"
