Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed."

The food excellent, but the staff was the best. If you are looking to get away from everything, surrounded by calming energy, this is the place for you. "Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot...

"The Bambuda Lodge is a great place to stay and relax. It says Hostel but it is much more than that. You can book your private rooms and still enjoy the community. They offer a family dinner with different dishes to choose from every day and you easily get to know other travelers. There is regular activities planned. We especially enjoyed the Jungle Trail with our guide Samuel. He led us through the muddy jungle - a fun experience. All of the staff is super friendly and we would definitely...

"Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig. Zum Badezimmer gibt es keine Tür. Aus der Dusche kommt leider kein richtiger Strahl. Leider ist es, dadurch das die Inhaber mit 2 Kindern dort sind relativ laut. Für uns war dadurch die Nacht um 7 Uhr beendet. Leider gibt es keine Rezeption oder Security. An allen 3 Seiten wird leider noch gebaut. Die Anlage ist aber sonst sehr schön. Fussläufig gibt es ein Over Water Restaurant/Bar. Vor dem Hotel ist ein kleiner Sandstrand und man kann hier surfen und...
