The porch is an absolute dream with the cleanest hot tub we have ever seen. Our night was magical, watching a Halloween movie on the projector on the covered porch while relaxing in the hot tub. "We came for a bike race over one of the coldest weekends on record. The first night, temperatures were close to 0 F and the icy wind had no trouble cooling the cabin through its numerous cracks. (no doubt that the cabin is fine in summer -- but not built for harsh winter.) We could not get warm enough to take off our parkas. The drama continued with my son being awakened by mice in the walls of the loft (we should have known something was up when we saw the numerous mouse traps in the loft...
